Sabor Latino serves this South American cocktail made from pisco, a grape brandy.

Ingredients

   3 ounces pisco

   1 ounce fresh-squeezed lime juice

 1-2 tablespoons powdered sugar

   1 egg white, whipped (optional)

     Ice cubes

     Angostura bitters (optional)

     Grated nutmeg (optional)

Directions

In a blender, combine pisco, lime juice, powdered sugar and egg white. Blend until smooth and taste for sweetness, adding more sugar or lime if needed. Pour into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Strain and serve in a flute or straight- sided aperitif glass. Top with a couple drops of bitters (Peruvian-style) or a dusting of nutmeg (Chilean-style).
