KEYSTONE, Colo.—The Summit County coroner says the 13-year-old skier who died after hitting a tree was Kenneth Joyce of Glastonbury, Connecticut.
Summit County Coroner Joanne Richardson says Kenneth suffered massive chest trauma when he hit a tree on an advanced run at the Keystone resort Tuesday.
He was pronounced dead at a Frisco hospital.
Officials say Kenneth and his family had been visiting from Connecticut since Saturday.
