The Nuggets announced today Nene will have a single round of chemotherapy on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old forward had surgery on Jan. 15 to remove a cancerous tumor from his testicle. He has been on an indefinite medical leave of absence since Jan. 11.
The news release said the treatment is preventative and “essentially eliminates the odds of a recurrence.” The team still has not set a date for his return.
