In its 24th year, Outdoor Buddies is unique in the assistance it has provided thousands of disabled Coloradans who otherwise could not have enjoyed rich participation in hunting and fishing.
But, like every other service organization, it has bills to pay. The public can participate in this process by attending the annual fundraising banquet Saturday at The Wildlife Experience, Lincoln Avenue at South Peoria Street.
In addition to the silent and live auctions, participants will enjoy the striking displays of the museum. Former Broncos safety Steve Foley will act as master of ceremonies. Social hour begins at 5 p.m., dinner at 7. For ticket information, 303-985-2293.
