After an overnight storm left some roads slick early today, people in the Denver metro area can look forward to several days of rising temperatures and blue skies, forecasters say.

“We shouldn’t see any more snow,” said Jim Kalina,- meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Colorado. “It’s done with.”

The overnight snowstorm dumped as much as four inches in Connifer and one to two inches in the Denver metro area, Kalina said.

Temperatures are expected to climb into the 40s today, into the 50s Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and into the 60s by Saturday, he said.

“It should be a pretty nice stretch,” Kalina said.

The next chance for snow is on Sunday when temperatures are expected to drop back down into the 40s, he said.
