The compensation and human-resources committee of Qwest’s board of directors approved specific performance targets used to calculate the 2008 Qwest Management Bonus Plan, according to a Tuesday filing.

Under the plan, bonus payments are calculated using bonus target percentages and are adjusted based on a combination of corporate, business- unit and individual performance.

Payments are expected to be distributed in the first quarter of 2009. The target bonus percentage for chairman and chief executive Ed Mueller is 200 percent. The target for chief financial officer John Rich ardson is 150 percent.
