DENVER—The Colorado Rockies and a man who claims he was discriminated against because he was denied a voucher to a free “Ladies’ Night” game must go through state-ordered mediation.
The Colorado Civil Rights Division issued a probable cause finding in a gender discrimination claim filed by Stephen Horner, Denver station KDVR-TV reported.
The Rockies, which can appeal the decision, have said it was their intent to offer the vouchers to anyone who asked for them.
Horner, a self-described antifeminist, in January declared an end to “Ladies’ Nights” after winning a similar ruling involving such promotions at nightclubs.
