• The New England Patriots re- signed wide receiver Jabar Gaffney, who had 36 receptions for 449 yards and a career-high five touchdowns last season.
• The Carolina Panthers and former University of Colorado defensive lineman Tyler Brayton agreed on a two-year deal.
• The Jacksonville Jaguars signed defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy, who spent the 2007 training camp with the Broncos before his release.
