Getting your player ready...

Height: 5-feet-9.

Weight: 148 pounds.

Age: 17. Born April 23, 1990, in Boulder.

High school sports: Basketball (post); volleyball (Class 4A all-state honorable mention middle hitter by The Denver Post); and track (thrower).

Grade-point average: 4.5.

My favorite team: Broomfield girls basketball team.

What I listen to: A little bit of everything.

The best thing on my training table: Pasta.

Pregame ritual: I wear the same hairdo, and we do some team and personal superstitions, but I really don’t do much.

Time management tip: You have to prioritize, do the most important things first, and do it in order of classes. Watch your time on the weekend, too — it helps if you get ahead.

Planned career: International business, and will have minors in French and math; considering USC, Pepperdine, Denver and Trinity in San Antonio.

My family: Parents Pam and Chris; sister Chere.

I would love to visit: Australia.

What I like most about high school sports: The camaraderie with girls I’ve been playing with, my teammates since third grade. You know everybody and have a good support system.

What I like least about high school sports: Sometimes there are a little bit of politics.
