Steve Keeney, a longtime Denver radio executive, is retiring as president and general manager of Denver Radio Co., and will be succeeded by sales director Blake Mendenhall.
Keeney, who remains on the board and will act as a paid adviser for Denver Radio, formerly oversaw CBS Denver, All Comedy Radio’s O&O Stations, CBS Portland, Viacom’s KHOW AM & FM and Jefferson Pilot’s KIMN and KYGO in Denver. Mendenhall was previously sales director for CBS Radio in Denver and Citadel Albuquerque.
