WINDSOR, Colo.—A man injured while working with a machine that winds aluminum webs for use in lithographic plates has died.
Jeffrey Dyrud, 48, was injured Saturday and died Monday, Weld County Coroner investigator Tom Shimp said.
Kodak Colorado Division site manager Robert Gray said Dyrud’s home town was not immediately known. It was the first work-related death at the plant, which started construction in Windsor in 1969, Gray said.
The part of the plant that manufactures lithographic plates, which are used for printing, has been shut down while an investigation continues.
