DENVER—Energy Secretary Samuel Bodman will be the keynote speaker at Sen. Ken Salazar’s third annual energy summit.
Salazar said Wednesday that the summit in Denver on March 28 will look at the new energy frontier facing America and the American West. It will discuss opportunities for Colorado and state and local energy initiatives.
Fellow Colorado Democrat Gov. Bill Ritter has promoted a “New Energy Economy” for Colorado based on renewable energy, plus the state’s coal, oil and gas resources.
Salazar’s past energy summits have drawn executives from Shell Oil and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
