GOLDEN — A public hearing on the proposed creation of the Jefferson County Library District has been continued until June 17.
About a dozen people, including representatives of several library-related groups, testified at Tuesday’s hearing before the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners.
A failure to post the event 90 days in advance forced the continuation. Another legal snag to be worked out before June include making the district boundaries the same as the current library system.
