Ingredients
About 1/2 pound lean ground beef
About 1/2 pound lean ground turkey
1 medium-large yellow onion, chopped
2 medium green bell peppers, de-seeded and chopped
1 large celery stalk, chopped
1 large can whole peeled tomatoes
1 large can kidney beans
1 can seasoned pinto beans
1-1/2 cans hot chili beans
1-1/2 tablespoons chili powder
About 4 tablespoons light salt
About 3/4 tablespoons crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Directions
Brown ground meat with onion in a large pan. Drain fat. In a large pot, combine all remaining ingredients, including juice from cans, to meat-onion mixture. Boil; then reduce to low heat. Simmer for hours until desired taste. Serve with biscuits or crackers.
