MONTREAL — The snow-covered roof of a food warehouse caved in Wednesday, killing three women.
The women, aged 46, 54 and 62, were located by rescuers hours after the collapse in Morin Heights, north of Montreal. They were among a group of about 45 workers in the Gourmet du Village building.
The Montreal area has had near-record snowfall this winter, including up to 13 inches throughout Quebec on Saturday, forecasters said.
