As a result of Southwest Airlines’ decision to temporarily ground some of its planes after admitting it had missed safety inspections, the airline canceled one flight in Denver and had some flight delays.

Flight information showed that one of Southwest’s Oakland-Denver flights was affected Wednesday.

“We anticipate being up and running as scheduled (Thursday),” Southwest spokesman Chris Mainz said.

Mainz said he did not have information on whether any of the grounded planes had been in regular use for Denver flights.
