WINONA, Minn. — Third-ranked Winona State made 14 3-pointers and was led by Josh Smith’s 18 points and 11 rebounds in routing Colorado Christian in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Tournament.
Brian Stamer scored 12 points to lead the Tigers (18-13). Jonte Flowers had 15 points for Winona (33-1), which had five players score 10 or more points.
