HOLLY, Colo.—The town of Holly will mark the first anniversary of a deadly tornado with a memorial service on March 28.
The tornado killed a 28-year-old mother and destroyed or damaged dozens of homes. A 76-year-old woman who was injured by the tornado died a month later.
The service will be held on Main Street at 8 p.m., the hour the tornado struck.
Holly has about 1,000 residents and is 190 miles southeast of Denver on the Colorado-Kansas border.
