The Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center, the city’s only unionized hotel, was named Wednesday as the official headquarters hotel for the Democratic National Convention, including the presidential campaign. “Outside the Pepsi Center, the Hyatt Regency Denver will serve as the primary nerve center for our convention operation,” Leah Daughtry, left, chief of the Democratic National Convention Committee, said in a statement. Last week, unionized workers at the 1,100-room hotel tentatively reached their first contract agreement.
