A man who was shot and killed in east Denver has been identified by authorities.

Charles Marcus Rhodes, 24, was shot at about 3 a.m. on March 12 in the 1300 block of Valentia Street.

Multiple shots were fired at Rhodes, police said, and a white station wagon was seen in the area at the time.

Police don’t know whether the station wagon was involved, but they hope the driver may have seen something to pass on to investigators.

The victim’s body was found in the front yard of a white single-family home, lying between a car parked in the driveway and the front door of the house.

The suspect, or suspects, remain at large and police have not disclosed a motive in the shooting.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Denver police or Crimestoppers at 720-913-STOP.
