The Meeker police officer who shot and killed a man early Friday while answering a domestic disturbance call has been identified as Lt. Glenn Wilson.
Wilson went to Meeker’s Valley Motel, 723 Market St., about 5:45 a.m. Friday.
During the investigation, according to Meeker police, Wilson shot a man who died at the scene.
Wilson is on administrative leave with pay.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is investigating the incident.
