Getting your player ready...

It’s possible that Sacramento’s three best players won’t play in tonight’s Nuggets-Kings game, which is great news for the Nuggets, who are in the thick of the playoff race.

Forward Ron Artest has a sprained left thumb and center Brad Miller has a lower leg sprain, and both will likely miss tonight’s game, a Kings spokesman said. Guard Kevin Martin is under the weather, dealing with stomach pains.

“They haven’t said absolutely ‘no’ yet, but none of them participated in walk-through,” Kings coach Reggie Theus said.

Also, the Nuggets have assigned seldom-used guard Taurean Green to the Colorado 14ers in the Developmental League.
