Owner Dan Landes recommends using this as a sandwich spread, as well as a dressing; makes 1 pint, enough for about 8 salads.
Ingredients
1/2 cup curry powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 teaspoon granulated onion
1/4 cup water
2 cups Vegenaise (a vegan mayonnaise sold in natural foods stores)
1/2 cup soy milk
Directions
In a small saucepan over low heat, cook the spices in the water, stirring constantly, 2-5 minutes, until they form a paste.
Transfer to a food processor and add remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth.
