Colorado Mines hired Kevin Sage as men’s and women’s swimming and diving coach, athletic director Tom Spicer said Thursday.
Sage, who joined the team last fall, was named interim coach on Feb. 26. Last month, three Mines divers qualified for the Division II national championships. Sage was previously assistant coach at Metro State for three years.
Weather threat forces twin bill.
Northern Colorado moved its baseball game, scheduled for today, against visiting Montana State-Billings to Saturday because of the threat of snow and poor weather. The teams will now play a doubleheader starting at 11 a.m. at Jackson Field in Greeley. The third game of the series remains scheduled for Sunday at noon.
