Qwest business and residential customers in the Denver area are experiencing a broadband service outage this afternoon.
Qwest spokeswoman Jennifer Barton confirmed that the Denver-based phone and Internet provider is experiencing problems with its network, but did not know the “scope or full impact” of the outage.
AT&T wireless customers are also experiencing problems. Company spokeswoman Vanessa Smith said that AT&T is looking into the issue.
Earlier this year Qwest CEO Ed Mueller said that the company would spend $300 million dollars this year to enhance its network.
