BRECKENRIDGE — One person was injured Saturday in an explosion at a snowmobile and sled-dog business.

Red, White and Blue Fire Rescue Capt. Kim Scott said the man was buried up to his chest in debris from the explosion at Good Times Adventures.

Rescuers needed about two hours to dig the man out from the rubble. He was airlifted by helicopter to a Denver-area hospital.

Scott said the explosion occurred in the main office of the building, and its cause is unknown.

There are two propane tanks and natural gas at the building, but Scott said she did not want to speculate on the cause of the explosion. Scott said an investigation is underway.

Good Times Adventures specializes in snowmobile tours, dog sledding and various other outdoor activities around Breckenridge and Summit County. Anna Haislip, The Denver Post
