This vehicle was presented in 1970 to the CSP by the State Highway Patrolmen’s Protective Association. It was not an original State Patrol car, but it was identical to the Fords used in 1935. This car was found in Grand Junction, and then painted in the original State Patrol color scheme and refurbished. I traveled over 3,000 miles from my hometown of Kaneohe, Hawaii, to become a Colorado State trooper in 2005. It is the best career I have ever known, helping people and keeping the roadways safe!
