Ken Salazar - LATINO AWARD WINNERS NAMED -- Community Leaders Honored at Library Awards Ceremony -- Denver-The 2006 Latino Leadership Awards have been named by the Denver Public Library Commission's Latino Awards committee. The annual awards presentation event will be held on Saturday, March 11 at 10 a.m. at the Denver's Woodbury Branch Library, located at 3265 Federal Blvd., (80211). 2006 Award Winners The Cesar Chavez Leadership Hall of Fame winners include Rev. Lucia Guzman and Sen. Ken Salazar. Anthony "Tony" Garcia is the winner of the Lena L. Archuleta Community Service Award. "These awards were created by the Denver Public Library Commission to recognize service to the Library and the community and to honor Latino leadership," said Denver Public Library spokeswoman M. Celeste Jackson. "Through these awards, we celebrate and honor the significant and daily contributions that these dynamic people are making."

Sen. Ken Salazar, right, D-Colo., won’t declare which presidential candidate he’s supporting any time soon, he said Wednesday. Salazar is a superdelegate who has not yet decided between Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York and Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois. “I’m very much at peace being in the position I’m in right now, which is an uncommitted delegate,” said Salazar.
