Jeff and Naomi Fitzgerald of Denver, who recently lost their golden retriever Karo to cancer, hosted the free swim day for pets to encourage donations to the Morris Animal Foundation where all the funds will be directed toward canine cancer studies.    Canine Rehabilitation and Conditioning Group offers certified canine rehabilitation, therapy for aging dogs, conditioning, obesity and weight management, acupuncture, massage, healthy supplements, recreational swimming, and indoor space for exercise and training programs. Morris Animal Foundation is a 57-year-old nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring a healthier tomorrow for companion animals and wildlife.  Since its inception, the Foundation has funded more than 1,200 humane animal health studies with funds exceeding $40 million.  One hundred percent of all annual, unrestricted contributions support animal health studies, not administration or the cost of fund raising. Water Dogs

Dogs allowed in the swimming pool today in Silverthorne! Bring your pup, and its latest vaccination papers, to one of three 90-minute sessions. The fee ($12 for one dog, $15 for two, $17 for the maximum of three per family) goes to facility expenses, which include thoroughly cleaning the pool once the last dog is out.
