A compensation package for the chief executive of Dish Network Corp. dipped 18 percent in 2007 because he received fewer reimbursements for items such as use of company aircraft, a regulatory filing said Friday.

Charlie Ergen, who also co- founded the No. 2 satellite-TV provider, received a package valued at $1.15 million, which included $592,308 in salary and $554,232 in other compensation for tax preparation and personal use of the corporate aircraft.

Ergen declined to accept any money he would have been entitled to under a nonequity compensation program and did not receive a bonus, the Securities and Exchange Commission filing stated.
