GREELEY — Noble Energy announced Friday it will provide the electronic scoreboard at the upcoming Greeley Stampede.
U.S. Smokeless Tobacco — a longtime sponsor of the Stampede — had allowed its $200,000 scoreboard to be used for the annual Greeley Stampede rodeo. But U.S. Smokeless Tobacco dropped its scoreboard sponsorship after the Greeley City Council last year implemented a ban on the distribution of free samples of chewing tobacco at the Stampede.
The Greeley Stampede runs June 25-July 6 and is called the “World’s Largest 4th of July Rodeo & Western Celebration.”
