Denver police have identified suspects in the fatal shooting of tattoo-store owner Joshua Trobaugh on Aug. 22.

Tyrone Williams, 30, and DeWayne O’Bannon, 25, are suspects in the robbery and murder at 6640 E. Colfax Ave., said Sonny Jackson, Denver police spokesman.

The two are in Denver-area jails on unrelated charges, Jackson said. Williams is being held for investigation of first-degree murder while O’Bannon is being held for investigation of felony murder.

Williams was arrested June 3, 2004, after the death a month earlier of Anthony M. Wallace, 32, who was shot multiple times outside his home at 1340 Kalamath St.

The charges were later dismissed, and he was released.

Williams was convicted in 1998 of attempting to deal drugs and was sentenced to three years in prison.
