Design fans may know this modern retailer with the global aesthetic from its sophisticated catalogue. Now the company has moved into one of Denver’s high-end home-furnishings districts with a new store at 2955 E. First Ave. in Cherry Creek North. The 15,700-square-foot outpost is the 30th West Elm store nationwide and features the company’s trademark retail look: loft-style design with hardwood and slate floors, exposed brick walls, expansive windows and industrial ducts in the ceiling. “West Elm Fillmore Place” will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
