Pop superstar Madonna will perform in Denver for the first time when she brings her “Sticky & Sweet Tour” to the Pepsi Center on Nov. 11. Tickets go on sale May 31.

Madonna’s new record, “Hard Candy,” was released last week and debuted at No. 1 in 27 countries. Her tour begins Aug. 23 in Cardiff, Wales, with stops in major European markets through September including London and Paris. The North American leg begins Oct. 3 in East Rutherford, N.J., with stops at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Oct. 6-7, followed by performances in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and more before ending at at Miami’s Dolphin Stadium on Nov. 26. She ends the year with stops in Mexico and South America.

Tickets for the unprecedented Denver stop, confirmed today by Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, and promoter Live Nation, will range from $55-$350. There will be a four ticket limit per person.

Her most recent tour, “Confessions,” played in 25 countries in 2006, including Russia, and reached a collective audience of more than 1.3 million fans. It was the highest grossing concert tour ever by a female artist.

The new tour will be directed by Madonna’s long-time creative collaborator, Jamie King. The musical director will be Kevin Antunes.
