KIEV, Ukraine — Emergency officials say a carousel ride jumped off its track and slammed into a pole in eastern Ukraine, killing two people and injuring eight.
A TV station says the carousel slammed into a supporting pole and sent people flying. Officials say a man in his early 20s and a young woman in her late teens died on the spot.
