A 17-year-old boy was arrested early this morning for investigation of first-degree murder in the shooting death of a 28-year-old man, authorities say.

The suspect is being held without bond in the Pueblo Youth Services Center, said Sgt. Eric Bravo, Pueblo police spokesman.

Carl Eugene Quintana died of a gunshot wound to the chest following the shooting at 640 E. Northern, Bravo said.

Police were called to the address at 12:30 a.m.

SWAT team members arrested the juvenile at 622 E. Third St. without incident, he said.
