Denver Public Schools today announced new leadership positions throughout the district, naming new instructional superintendents and new principals.
Here is a list of the DPS personnel changes:
Brette Pond, elementary instructional superintendent, will be principal at McKinley Thatcher Elementary.
Jan Box, principal at Asbury Elementary School, will replace Pond.
Anita Theriot, elementary instructional superintendent, will be interim principal at Asbury Elementary.
Janice Spearman, high school instructional superintendent, will replace Theriot.
Antwan Wilson, principal at Montbello High School, will be the high school instructional superintendent. The district will be posting the Montbello principal position immediately.
Jason Martinez, current K-8 instructional superintendent, will be director of strategic initiatives in the strategy office. His initial areas of focus will include supporting the new schools office and performance-management program initiatives.
Laurie Grosselfinger, current principal at Goldrick Elementary School, will serve as the K-8 instructional superintendent.

Jim Kimbrough will be principal of Samuels Elementary.
Charmaine Keeton will be principal of Knight Fundamental Academy.
Dan Villescas will be principal of Doull Elementary.
Allen Smith will be principal at Martin Luther King Jr. Early College.
Christina Bansch-Schott will be principal at Knapp Elementary School.
Dana Williams will serve as principal at University Park Elementary.
Randy Johnson will serve as principal at CEC Middle College.
Sally Stanley will serve as principal at Contemporary Learning Academy.
Keith Mills will serve as interim principal at Farrell B. Howell K-8.
Maria Uribe will serve as interim principal at Goldrick Elementary.
Karin Johnson will serve as interim principal at Polaris at Ebert Elementary.
Amy Green will serve as interim principal at Barrett Elementary.
Devin Dillon will serve as interim principal at Greenwood K-8.
Elizabeth Tenecate will serve as interim principal at Fairmont Dual Language Immersion Academy.
