Want to eat better but don’t know how to balance your diet? Visit and click on “MyPyramid tracker.” Register your weight, height, age and physical activity level, then use the pull-down menus to enter information on what you ate for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks that day. Bar charts will tell you how close you are to meeting goals for grains, vegetables, fruit and meat/beans; plus you’ll see a line graph that shows your suggested daily calorie intake and whether you kept within it. There’s also a menu planning feature that helps you create nutritious meals.
