Rachel Greenwald is Denver’s dating coachand she just got a huge shout-out from Sunday’s New York Times.
She’s the author of the 2003 best seller “Find a Husband After 35: Using What I Learned at Harvard Business School.” It sold more than 100,000 copies in 18 languages.
The “Vows” column in The Times each week celebrates a recent marriage — and new bride Elena Wechsler gives full credit to Greenwald for coaching her to wedded bliss.
“I was very surprised,” says Greenwald on the horn from Barcelona, Spain. “Most of my clients are embarrassed to have a dating coach. They usually don’t tell their friends or the men they’re dating. Elena is not only not hiding it, but putting it in The New York Times.”
Getting credit for a marriage in the “Vows” column, says Greenwald, is pretty much the holy grail for a dating coach. The book was sold out on by 9 a.m. Sunday.
It was Elena’s dad (also a Harvard biz grad) who arranged for Greenwald to coach his daughter — to the tune of $2,000 to $5,000 a day. And it paid off.

She can wage a war and play the piano!
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is down to perform Aug. 20 at the Aspen Music Festival. She’ll play a Dvorák piano quintet with music students. It’s part of the festival’s Words & Music event. No info yet what she’ll talk about.
Rice was a piano student in Aspen one summer in the early ’70s. And her name is from the Italian musical notation con dolcezza, meaning “with sweetness.”
Whatever.
