RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Mattel Inc., the world’s biggest toymaker, settled breach-of-contract claims with Bratz doll designer Carter Bryant on the eve of a trial to determine whether Mattel or MGA Entertainment Inc. owns the dolls.
Terms of the settlement between Bryant, a former Mattel employee, and the company were confidential, Mattel lawyer John Quinn and Bryant’s lawyer, Christa Anderson, said at a hearing Monday.
