WASHINGTON — Ford Motor Co.’s Windstar minivans are being investigated by U.S. safety officials after reports of at least 130 fires in engine compartments.
The probe covers models from 1995 to 2003 and may affect 1.71 million of the minivans, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Monday on its website.
