A body was discovered inside a recreational vehicle that was gutted by a fire early Monday, authorities said.
Flames were shooting above the RV parked at a strip-mall in the 2200 block of South Monaco Parkway when firefighters arrived just after 4 a.m., said Alex Paez, spokesman for the Denver Fire Department. After firefighters extinguished the blaze, they discovered the body, whose gender and identity have not been determined, Paez said.
The flames from the RV scorched a wooden fence next to the parking lot, he said.
