IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo.—Poor weather has closed the Mount Evans Road, which opened for the season just this past Friday.
State transportation officials say the road will reopen on Tuesday, weather permitting.
Mount Evans is one of Colorado’s “fourteeners,” because it stretches 14,264 feet above sea level.
