Police have arrested an 18-year-old for investigation of murder in the fatal shooting of a man earlier this week.
Saul Roldan Jr. is being held in the Denver County Jail in the murder of Demtrus Harris, 21, said Sonny Jackson, Denver police spokesman.
Police were called to a shooting at 275 S. Federal Blvd. and discovered that Harris had been shot in the head.
Hundreds of people were cruising Federal at the time, but when the shooting happened they scattered, Jackson said.
A homicide investigation pointed to Roldan, he said. Police will refer the case to the Denver district attorney’s office for possible formal murder charges.
