FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Larimer County coroner’s officials say a New Mexico woman who was hospitalized after falling into the Poudre River in Colorado has died.
She was identified as 29-year-old Christine Beltran of Santa Fe.
Sheriff’s officials say she was in a group tubing on the river Sunday when they all fell in the water. The rest of the group made it out safely.
Sheriff’s officials say the group was vacationing in the area.
Two other people in water accidents this weekend drowned. Mesa County sheriff’s officials say a man who jumped into a swimming hole to help a distressed swimmer got pulled under heavy currents Saturday. In Gunnison County, sheriff’s officials say a man died after his raft overturned on the Gunnison River.
