DENVER—Advertising officials say billboards in downtown Denver will be a hot commodity during the Democratic National Convention in August.
Shauna Singeltary of Outdoor Ads Inc. said this week that advertisers are snapping up sign space where convention-goers will see them.
Caroline Watson of the Cameron Christopher Thomas ad agency says billboards in key Denver locations are already sold. She says demand for sign space in Denver is always high.
Some ad experts say that could lead to more demand for mobile billboards and ads on the sides of buses.
City officials say about 50,000 delegates, dignitaries and media are expected in Denver for the Aug. 25-28 convention.
