Police say four kidnappings and robberies in southeast Denver over the past 10 weeks are related, but so far no one has been hurt.
In each case, a victim was either getting out of their vehicle or still nearby it when two black men armed with pistols approached them, police said.
The victims were ordered to drive the men to an ATM and withdraw cash, before they were released unharmed.
The robberies have happened between 8 p.m. and midnight. Two of the robberies have happened in the 8100 block of East Fairmount Drive, another in the 8500 block of the same street and one in the 9100 block of East Mississippi Avenue.
In one robbery, three men were involved.
One robber is described as 22 to 29 years old, five feet, 10 inches tall, a slim build at 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He usually wore an oversized black hoodie sweatshirt.
The second is believed to be 18 to 21 years old, five feet, 10 inches tall, with a slim build at 160 pounds. Victims said he had brown eyes, black hair adn wore a blue ski jacket.
The third robber, also a black man, is 18 to 21 years old, five feet, nine inches tall, 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He wore a black ski jacket with a label or tape on the right sleeve cuff.
