NEUSS, Germany — Dollmaker Marcel Offermann has created a limited- edition Barack Obama doll in collaboration with dollmaker Schild kroet.
Dressed in a black silk suit, a blue necktie and leather shoes, the miniature Obama went on sale Monday for 139 euros ($219).
Offermann’s Puppenklinik company has honored other public figures with dolls, including the late Princess Diana, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Pope Benedict XVI.
