NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGIATE DIRECTORS OF ATHLETICS: Recognized Metro State athletic director Joan McDermott as the AstroTurf Athletic Director of the Year for Division II’s West Region. McDermott leads a 17-sport program at Metro State, which has won four national championships in two sports under her leadership.

Karen Wheeler will receive the Volunteer Lawyer of the Year award, and Aaron Bradford the Young Lawyer of the Year honor.
