FORT COLLINS — A 20-year-old Ault man reportedly was stabbed in a Fort Collins Super Wal-Mart on Monday afternoon. Frank McConnell suffered a single stab wound to his abdomen.
The attacker fled the Wal-Mart before police arrived; however, witnesses were able to get a description of a suspect’s vehicle.
The vehicle was found in the 2800 block of Tulane Drive. The 17-year- old driver, whose name is not being released, was detained and taken to the police department for questioning.
Police are investigating two additional incidents — involving harassment and assault — that occurred before the stabbing and might be related to the same assailant.
